Safety with children
Children under the age of eight must be kept away from the steam
ironing system unless they are supervised.
Children older than eight may only use the steam ironing system
unsupervised if they have been shown how to use it in a safe way,
and recognise and understand the consequences of incorrect
operation.
Children must not be allowed to clean or maintain the steam
ironing system unsupervised.
Please supervise children in the vicinity of the steam ironing
system, and do not let them play with it.
Make sure that children under the age of eight cannot access the
steam hose or the power cable, either during use or while the steam
ironing system is cooling down.
Miele recommends that only children over the age of 14 are
allowed to operate the steam ironing system unsupervised.
Danger of suffocation.
Packaging, (e.g. plastic wrapping), must be kept out of the reach of
babies and children. Whilst playing, they could become entangled in
the packaging or pull it over their head and suffocate.
