2. Paper feeding operation
* For thin paper, the machine performs the following steps in advance:
• Turns the folding position adjustment motor (M15) in the reverse direction at a speed 50 mm/s, and stops the folding
position adjustment motor (M15) after feeding the paper by 5.0 mm.
• Turns on the Fold/Separation Solenoid (SOL3), and waits for 300 ms.
* The succeeding steps are the same for both plain paper and thin paper.
• The folding position adjustment motor (M15) turns at a speed of 400 mm/s.
• Without thin paper,The folding position sensor (S32) turns on to activate the Fold/Separation Solenoid (SOL3).
• When the paper has been fed 10.0 mm since its trailing edge passed through the released rollers (and 150 ms have
passed after the Fold/Separation Solenoid turned on), the Fold/Separation Solenoid (SOL3) turns off.
• When the paper has been fed 10.0 mm since its trailing edge passed by the trailing edge stopper, the folding position
adjustment motor (M15) stops.
