Message Cause
Block Configuration The target mode is
Error "Auto" or "Man" and the
Act. Fail Action
parameter is
"undefined".
Time monitoring or
stroke counter are ON
and the Sensor Usage
parameter is set to "No
position detection" or
"Use sensor values for
PV_D".
Time monitoring is ON
and one of the
reference values for
time monitoring is 0.
Input Failure The status of the valve
position feedback to the
function block (Primary
Value) is BAD.
Output Failure The combined error
signal of the errors is
displayed in the XD
Error parameter.
Maintenance Needed The Stroke Counter
Limit has been
exceeded.
Device Maintenance The combined error
signal of the errors is
displayed in the Valve
Warning parameter.
Readback Check Set if status of the
Failed Primary Value
parameter is BAD.
Sensor Failure In MIO sensor mode.
One or more sensor
inputs have a lead short
circuit or lead
breakage.
Out of Service Block mode is out of
service.
Solution
Set the actuator fail
action parameter to the
drive mode "self-
closing" or "self-
opening".
