Low Water Cutoff
Automatically shuts down burner whenever water
level drops below probe. A 3 to 5 second time delay
prevents premature lockout due to temporary condi-
tions such as power failure or air pockets. Standard
on Cal Code heaters.

High & Low Gas Pressure Switches
Pressure switches sense either high or low gas pres-
sure and automatically shut down burners if abnormal
pressures exist. Standard on Models 3001-4001.

Electrical Wiring

DANGER - SHOCK HAZARD - Make sure
electrical power to the heater is disconnected to avoid
potential serious injury or damage to components.
CAUTION: Label all wires prior to disconnection
when servicing controls. Wiring errors can cause
improper and dangerous operation. Verify proper
operation after servicing.
NOTE: If it is necessary to replace any of the
original wiring, it must be replaced with 105° C wire
or its equivalent.
NOTE: Models 2100-4001 require 240VAC power
to the pump.
Electronic Ignition
The intermittent ignition device conserves energy by
automatically extinguishing the pilot when desired
temperature is reached. When additional heat is need-
ed, the pilot re-ignites electrically, eliminating the fuel
costs of maintaining a constant pilot. To ensure safe
operation, the gas valve cannot open until the pilot
relights and is confirmed.
Heater must be electrically grounded and bonded
