In order to prevent signal loss, a 68-pin twisted
ribbon cable (LVD) with external SCSI terminator is
necessary to connect Ultra 320 SCSI hard drive to
this workstation board. All termination jumpers on
the SCSI devices must be removed when using the
external SCSI terminator.
IMPORTANT: Each channel should have only one
type of SCSI standard. A mixed setup with different
standard on the same channel will decrease the
performance to the slowest device.
