ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

The boiler requires a 120V 60Hz power supply. Ensure the electrical supply is polarized.
The boiler must be grounded and on a dedicated circuit.
There must only be one common isolator, providing complete electrical isolation for the boiler and any external controls. Using
PVC insulated cable 18 AWGx3C 221°F / 105 °C. All wiring must be installed in accordance with requirements of the National
Electrical Code and any additional national, state, or local code requirements having jurisdiction. All wiring must be N.E.C. Class
1. Boiler must be electrically grounded in accordance with the National Electrical Code, ANSI / NFPA No. 70-latest edition. In
Canada, installation must conform to CSA C22.1 Canadian Electrical Code Part 1 and any local codes.

10.1 ACCESS TO THE CONNECTION BLOCK

1. Unscrew the two screws located under the front panel a quarter turn
and remove the panel.

Guide the controller or thermostat wire through the round grommet(s)
on the right side of the boiler's bottom plate right.
3. Tilt the control box forward by opening the holding clips located on each
side of the boiler.
4. Open the control panel cabinet by unfastening the clip on the front of
the control box.
5.
Run the wire(s) through the grommet(s) in the control panel cabinet.
6.
Unscrew the wire clamp (to access the connection block) and bring the
wires through.
7. Connect the wires to the appropriate terminals on the connection block.
8. Firmly tighten the wire clamps and close the control panel cabinet.
Various thermostats and controllers can be connected to the standard control
PCB (X12 connection block).
WARNING
If the appliance is connected to an infloor system, install a limit
thermostat to prevent the latter from overheating.
10.1.1 MAIN SUPPLY CONNECTION
DANGER
The main supply is connected to terminal block X1 which is high
voltage (120V / 60Hz).
