4.1.2 Baxi two pipe Polypropylene system
This type of venting allows for exhaust flue and intake flue to be separated from each other. Fresh air may be drawn in at a different
area from where the flue terminal is located.
The splitting kit consists of a adaptor and of an intake air vent adaptor.
For the air duct adaptor use the screws and seals previously removed from the cap.
The 90° elbow allows the boiler to connect to the venting termination regardless of direction; since it can be rotated by 360°. It can
also be used to connect the vent with a 45° elbow.

Separated horizontal flue termination installation options

The maximum length of the intake vent (L 1) can not exceed 49' 1/4" / 15.00 m for LUNA
DUO-TEC 1.70 and 32' 9 5/8" / 15.00 m for LUNA DUO-TEC 1.110.
• (L1 + L2) max = 147' 5/8" / 45.00 m for LUNA DUO-TEC 1.70
• (L1 + L2) max = 131' 1/4" / 40.00 m for LUNA DUO-TEC 1.110
WARNING
Ensure a minimum downward slope of 1.97 in / 5.00 cm for every 39 3/8"/ 1.00 m of duct length toward the boiler.
