CAUTION
Before filling the siphon, remove the cap (as shown in the
figure to the side) and connect the condensate drain hose.
• To fill the condensate trap pour water into the exhaust vent until water begins
to flow through the siphon.
• Visually inspect the siphon to ensure it is full.
CAUTION
Fill the condensate trap before starting the boiler to avoid combustion products escaping from the boiler.
CAUTION
During operation, check the condensate trap is draining properly.

FILLING THE HEATING SYSTEM

CAUTION
Before filling, open the valves on every heating circuit in the installation.
NOTICE
In order to be able to read off the water pressure from the boiler display, the boiler must be switched on.
• Fill the system with clean tap water (advised water pressure is between 14.7 - 22.1 psi/1.0 - 1.5 bar ).
• Check the water connections to ensure they are tight and are not leaking.
NOTICE
After switching on the power, as long as there is adequate water pressure, the boiler will always run through an
automatic air purge program lasting approximately 3 minutes (During filling, air can escape from the system via the
automatic air vent). If the water pressure is lower than 11.6 psi/0.8 bar , the symbol
up the water level in the heating system (recommended system pressure between 14.7 - 22.1 psi/1.0 - 1.5 bar .
CAUTION
The system must be filled must be carried out within 30 minutes, otherwise the air purge program starts which would be
undesirable if the system is not filled. Switch off the boiler if the heating system is not being pressurized immediately.
When venting air from the system piping, protect the boiler fromwater damage.

TOXIC CHEMICALS

Toxic chemicals, such as those used for boiler treatment, shall not be introduced into the potable water.
