2. An isolating gate valve should ALWAYS be pla ced in feed water
line all o wing service of t h e fill valve.
3. Each un it is fitted with a fill solenoid valve loca ted on the
base dra in pan. Flow orifices ar designed for water pressure s
from 30-85 psi and are protected b y the built-in s trainer.
4. For inlet water pressure outside
this
range, the factor y
should be contacted. (See also water supply section)
The Inlet Water Strai ner
The f ill solenoid is e quipped with a built-in serviceable strainer
to prevent f o r eign particles , suc h as sand or solder fro m blocking
t he fill orifi ce.
1. To clean the st rainer , first turn off the unit, close the gate
valve on the water suppl y line, remov e the locking bar l ocated
in the fil l solenoid and slide out the strainer.
2. Rinse the strai ner and back flush it thoro ughl y with tap water
to ensure the removal of all debris.
3. To re-install strai ner , reverse procedure.
