NOTE
It is recommended that a two inch piece of adhesive heat shrink tubing be installed over
all coaxial cable interfaces. The heat shrink tubing should overlap the connector body as
much as practical without interfering with the coupling nut (see Figure 2-7).
NOTE
It is recommended that the nominal end-to-end coaxial cable (non-terminated) length for
each assembly be recorded for the specific installation in the event that a particular
coaxial cable assembly associated with an installed set should require replacement.
