Adjust Earpiece and Speakerphone Volume
There are 5 levels (VOLUME 1 to VOLUME 5) to choose from for each of earpiece and
speakerphone volume.
Using a handset:
During a call:
Press Vol+ or Vol- to select your desired volum e. When you end the call, the setting
w ill remain at the last selected level.
Using the base:
During a call:
Press
/
to select volum e 1-5. The current setting is show n. When you end the
call, the settings w ill remain at the last selected level.

Mute a Call
With the call muted, you can talk to someone nearby w ithout letting the caller hear you
during a call.
Using the base:
During a call:
Press INT/MUTE/CLEAR to mute the microphone and "MUTED" is displayed on the
LCD. Your caller cannot hear you. Press INT/MUTE/CLEAR again to resume the
microphone.
