5 Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting Scenarios

If you encounter a problem while using the BradyPrinter™ M611 printer, see the following sections for

Ribbon cartridge will not go into the bay

Problem: The ribbon cartridge will not go easily into the bay.
Solutions:
Make sure the cartridge is oriented correctly.
Check to see if there is slack in the ribbon between the rollers. If so, rotate the take-up spool
clockwise to remove the slack.

Cutter does not cut or cuts poorly

Problem: Labels print, but are not cut, or the cuts are rough and torn.
