iv.
Cause
The height specified in the
barcode settings is taller than
the label.
The barcode is wider than the
label.
Cover not closed. (A sensor
indicates when the printer cover
is fully latched.)
Label material is stuck in the
cutter blades.
The label supply is not the right
size for the amount of data on
the label.
The label file was created for a
different label supply than is
installed.
Corrective Action
• Change the height setting for
barcodes. See
"Barcode
Settings" on page
53.
• Install taller labels.
• If the label is taller than it is
wide, try rotating the label. See
"Rotation" on page
46.
• Install wider labels.
Push down firmly on cover until
you hear it latch. It should line
up evenly with printer case.
Open the printer. Remove the
label supply. Clear the path of
the debris.
Install a larger label supply. See
"Loading Labels" on page
Install the label supply that the
file was created for, or a similar
label supply.
When possible, the printer tells
you which label supply to install.
If the message does not specify
a label supply, try swapping a
continuous label supply with a
pre-sized label supply, or vice
versa.
