5:10 INSTALLATION OF SAFETY/DRAIN VALVE

The Alde safety/drain valve has to be fitted to the cold water hose entering the hot water heater.
CAUTION
OBSERVERA
Safety/drain valve must not be mounted higher than the
hose connection.
ATTENTION
VOORZICHTIG
1. Drill a Ø 16 mm hole in the floor for the drain hose, and then screw the safety/drain valve securely into the floor.
2. Fit the hose connection (Figure H 21) on the inlet nipple.
3. Connect the safety/drain valve to the hose connection.
4. Then, fit the elbow connection with inbuilt vent valve on the outlet connection (Figure H 25). This should be fitted in
the same way as the hose connection. Fit the bleed hose (Figure H 20) to the valve's hose connector, and pull the
hose out through the floor. Cut the hose obliquely under the vehicle at an angle of 30° facing the rear of the vehicle
(Figure G). The hose must not be blocked.
