SECTION 6: SERVICE

Review the troubleshooting and procedures in this section if a problem develops with your machine. If
you need replacement parts or additional help with a procedure, call our Technical Support. Note: Please
gather the serial number and manufacture date of your machine before calling.
Symptom
Possible Cause
Shear will not cut
1. Workpiece thickness exceeds shear
workpiece.

Troubleshooting

Possible Solution
1. Only use workpiece material that is within shear
capacity (Pages 5–6).
2. Sharpen/replace blades (Page 25).
3. Properly adjust blade gap (Page 24).
3. Safely increase pressure on cutting lever.
1. Adjust 90° guide square with blades (Page 18).
2. Properly adjust rear work stop parallel to blades
(Page 17).
3. Adjust hold-down bar for even pressure on
workpiece (Page 16).
4. Properly adjust blade gap (Page 24).
