Displaying/Hiding On-Screen Information

Your VCR displays most information both on the VCR and
television.
You can choose to display or hide this information on the television
screen (except for the Index, Timer Programming function, which

Tuning System

You can select the Tuning System if your living country is different
from the selected country in Plug and Initial Setting (see page 13).

Press MENU on the remote control.
Result: The programming menu is displayed.
Press the corresponding or buttons, until the cursor is
placed in front of the USER SET option.
Press the button to select this option.
Result: The USER SET1 menu is displayed.
Press the corresponding or buttons, until the cursor is
placed in front of the OSD option.
To: Press or , until:
display on-screen information ON is displayed.
hide on-screen information OFF is displayed.
On completion, press MENU twice to exit the menu.
Press MENU on the remote control.
Result: The programming menu is displayed.
Press the corresponding or buttons, until the cursor is placed
in front of the INSTALLATION option.
Press the button to select this option.
Result: The INSTALLATION menu is displayed.
Press the corresponding or buttons, until the cursor is placed
in front of the COUNTRY option.
Press the button to select your country region. (Ex.: EUROPE).
Press the button to select your country. (Ex.: U.K.)
On completion, press OK to memory.
If your country does not exist in the country list, then
select OTHERS.
If your living country is same the selected country in Plug
and Initial Setting (see page 13), then you need not select
Tuning System.
