PAL-N Tape Conversion with the Worldwide VCR One of the most useful functions of the Worldwide VCR is the combination of tape duplication and system conversion, more simply known as “Tape Conversion”. This allows the user to copy, for example, a SECAM tape and simultaneously convert it to PAL or NTSC. This is particularly useful for duplicating home video camcorder recordings and sending them to friends or relatives abroad.

Connecting Other Equipment to Your VCR You can connect other audio and/or video equipment to your VCR in different ways.
