Symptom
Fault during electrical switching
on or off.
Withdrawable unit cannot be
(completely) inserted into the
panel.
Withdrawable unit cannot be
moved.
Withdrawable unit will not move
from 'TEST' to
'Service/Connected' position.
Withdrawable unit will not move
from 'Test' to 'Insert/Withdrawn'
position.
Withdrawable unit will not move
from 'Service/Connected' to
'Test' position.
Circuit breaker will not open or
close when given an electrical
command or the mechanical
buttons pushed on the door.
Circuit breaker will not rack in or
out of the panel, the racking in
handle appears to be jamed.

Possible cause
Auxiliary voltage too low.
Fault in closing circuit (auxiliary
contact).
Make coil or break coil burnt out.
Rotary spring not charged or spring-
tensioning motor faulty.
The height of the truck is not properly
set.
Unit is turned On/Closed
Drive in the wrong position.
Unit is in the ON/Closed position.
Earthing switch is 'On'.
Withdrawable unit is 'On'/'Closed'.
Unit is 'On'.
Unit is in the 'On'/'Closed' position.
Breaker mechanism electro-mechanical
interlock fitted and 58 pin socket not
plugged in.
No control voltage present.
Carriage electro-mechanical interlock
fitted and 58 pin socket not plugged in.
No control voltage present.

What to do:
 Check auxiliary voltage.
 Set the height of the transport trolley properly.
 Turn unit Off/Open
 Put drive in correct position.
 Turn Unit 'Off'/'Open'.
 Turn earthing switch 'Off'.
 Turn unit 'Off'/'Open'.
 Turn unit 'Off'/'Open'.
 Turn unit 'Off'/'Open'.
 Connect the 58 pin socket.
 Apply relevant control voltage.
 Connect the 58 pin socket.
 Apply relevant control voltage.
