    Making calls There are three ways to make calls on the Polycom 650. You can: Lift the handset and dial the number. Push the headset button, dial the number and then press the New Call soft key. Push the speaker button, dial the number and then press New Call.

    There’s an outgoing call (ringing back) Any menu shows on the display In all other cases, the backlight mode reverts to its idle state. The Polycom 650 gives you three backlight settings: On, Idle or Maximum Intensity. To change any of these: Press Menu.

    Also, you cannot park a call that you have made. Guest In / Guest Out It's possible to Hot Desk on all Polycom phones. However, a user will always be associated with their home device.
