15. Troubleshooting

If the system does not properly operate besides the malfunctions. Check the system based on the following
procedures.
Symptoms
System does not start
up but the digital
tube shows normally
System operates
mode reversely
System cannot cool
well
System cannot heat
well
Manufacturer reserves the right to change specifications or designs without notice.
Possible causes
• No 24 VAC signal from thermostat.
• Incompatible thermostat.
• Wrong O/B signal selection.
• Damaged PCB.
• Dirty air filter.
• Blocked outlet of indoor unit.
• The system is in start-up control.
• Outside temperature is too high.
• Too little refrigerant in the system.
• Too large comp. suction superheat.
• Dirty air filter.
• Dirty outdoor condensing coil.
• Outdoor condensing unit has been
covered by heavy snow.
• Lack of refrigerant.
• No third-party heat source in really
cold winter.

Solutions
• Be sure Y/O/C wirings are connected correctly
and the cooling/heating setting temperature
from thermostat is proper.
• Use another type 24 volts common thermostat
• Choose O signal from thermostat.
• Claim a new PCB to replace.
• Clean or replace the air filter.
• Eliminate any obstacles.
• Wait the system to exit start-up control.
• Protection control for the system.
• Check for leaks and refrigerant charge.
• Counterclockwise the TXV (Make sure the
refrigerant coefficient is 0.6)
• Clean or replace the air filter.
• Clean the outdoor condensing coil.
• Clean up the snow near the condensing unit.
• Check refrigerant amount or any leaks.
• Install an auxiliary heater. It's recommended
to use dual-heating function.
