12. Start-up

Refer to IoT Installation and Warranty Guide by ESS APP, connect the IoT gateway before start-up.
At the same time, ensure chapters 5~11 have been completed.
1. Set the thermostat to OFF.
3. Wait one hour before starting the unit if the
outdoor ambient temperature is below 59 º F.

Note:
It may take up to 45 minutes in the first time for heating operation to exit start-up control. This is normal
function to preheat lubricants in the bottom of compressor.

2. Turn on disconnect switch to apply power
to the indoor and outdoor units.
4. Set the thermostat to ON.
