Using RAID 5 mode (4 hard drives)

Note:
After the RAID array is changed, the TeraStation will perform a RAID check that will take about 5 hours per TB.
File transfers will be slower during this period. While the "RAID ARRAY x Resyncing" message is displayed on the
LCD screen, do not turn off the TeraStation. If you turn it off, the RAID check will start over.

The Confirm Operation screen will appear.
Enter the number shown in the Confirmation Number field within 60 seconds, and click Apply.

Follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
You have now set up a RAID 5 array. Turn to page 47 to create a shared folder.

Click System - Storage - RAID Array in Settings.
Click the array you want to configure.
Select hard disks (all 4 of them) to use in RAID 5.
1 Select RAID 5.
2 Click Create Raid Array.
