SAFELY RELEASING PRESSURE
You can wait for pressure to release naturally,
or use quick release.
CAUTION!
•
Do not place hands, face, or skin
over the pressure release valve.
•
Do not open the lid until steam is
finished releasing. The lid will stay
locked until the float valve drops
down.
•
Never force the float valve down
while it is still up.
•
To avoid dangerous food splatter,
always use natural release for
foods that have a large liquid
volume or high starch content
(such as soup, porridge, or fruit
jam).
Natural Release
Let the cooker rest until the float valve
drops down
