SAFELY RELEASING PRESSURE

You can wait for pressure to release naturally,
or use quick release.
CAUTION!
Do not place hands, face, or skin
over the pressure release valve.
Do not open the lid until steam is
finished releasing. The lid will stay
locked until the float valve drops
down.
Never force the float valve down
while it is still up.
To avoid dangerous food splatter,
always use natural release for
foods that have a large liquid
volume or high starch content
(such as soup, porridge, or fruit
jam).
