If a digital audio source is connected to both the SPDIF and OPT ports, then this port has priority and will supply the audio to the Receiver unit.

This port will output digital audio from either the OPT or SPDIF port on the Sender unit. If a digital audio source is connected to both the SPDIF and OPT ports, on the Sender unit, then the SPDIF audio signal will be heard on the output.

Installation Connection Instructions Audio ► Connect an RCA- type cable from the digital output of the audio source to the SPDIF port on the Sender unit. Connect the included optical cable from the optical audio output of the audio source to the OPT port on the Sender unit. -
