4.7 Switching the vibration on
or off
Danger
!
Danger of damage!
When compacting with vibration you must al-
ways check the effect of vibration on nearby
buildings and underground supply lines (gas,
water, sewage, electric power) and stop com-
paction work with vibration, if necessary.
Caution
!
Risk of bearing damage!
Do not switch the vibration on on hard (frozen,
concrete) ground.

Note
Switch the vibration on when the engine is running
with full speed.
Vibration at standstill leaves transverse marks in
the asphalt, therefore:
only switch the vibration on after shifting the

travel lever to the desired travel direction.
