4.3 Starting the engine

Always wear your seat belt.
Start the engine only from the operator's seat.

Put your seat belt on (Fig. 25).

Close the choke (Fig. 26).

Note
Always close the choke if the engine is cold or has
cooled down.
Always open the choke when the engine is warm.

locked to the right in braking position.

Shift the throttle lever (Fig. 28) to position

"MIN".
