Chapter 2 Useful Features
8. When all settings are specified, choose Accept and then press <Enter> key.
9. Press <Esc> key to close the screen. Choose Yes at the message "Save Configuration?".
10. Press <Esc> key to return TOP Menu.
11. On TOP Menu, choose Objects, Virtual Drive, and then View/Update Parameters to check the Virtual
Drive information.
12. Press <Esc> key to return to TOP Menu, and then select Initialize.
13. On the Virtual Drives screen, use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the Virtual Drive to be initialized,
and then press <Space> key.
The Virtual Drive is selected.
14. Press <F10> key.
15. To start the initialization of the selected Virtual Drive, choose Yes at the initialization confirmation
message.
The initialization completes when the "Completed" progress bar on the "Init Of VD Is In Progress" screen
reaches 100%. Press <Esc> key to return to TOP Menu.
16. Execute the consistency check process at the Virtual Drive for RAID1/RAID10 after initialization is
complete.

17. Press <Esc> key to return to TOP Menu, and then exit LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility..
