Installer Setting – Emergency Heater Setting
This function is only available on some products
This function will set the Emergency Heater Setting.
Emergency Heater is used to heat the space in emergency case such as heat pump error.
Emergency heat is in place of and does not supplement heat pump.
C Emergency Heater setting Function sets following conditions:
1) Emergency Heater operation while in error or outdoor unit operates cooling cycle.
2) Emergency Heater operation in Low Ambient temperature
3) Fan speed setting during Emergency Heater operation

Setting3 : FAN Speed
Setting during Emergency

! CAUTION
This function setting must be carried out by a certified-technician.
Incorrect function setting can cause fire.

Press and hold button for more than 3 seconds to enter the installer settings mode.
- If pressing only once briefly, it will enter the user settings mode.
Make sure to press and hold for more than 3 seconds.
Move to the Emergency Heater Setting in the menu using
Select the Emergency Heater Setting using F G button.
C If 00 is set at this stage, setting 2 & setting 3 will not be available.

Move to Low Ambient Heating Operation setting by pressing I button.
Press F G button to setup Low Ambient Heating Operation.
00: Not use
01~03: compressor on/off Setting step
01~15: compressor on/off Setting step(step expand indoor unit)
C Emergency heater operation in Low Ambient temperature
- compressor off : Emergency heater enabled
- compressor on : Emergency heater disabled
Move FAN Speed Setting during Emergency Heater Operation by pressing I button.
Press F G button to setup FAN Speed during Emergency Heater Operation.
0 : fan off
1 : fan on
K
Press button to save.
L
Press button to exit or system will automatically exit after 25 seconds without any input.
