Using shielded 2-wire communications cable such as Belden
# 9460, connect the communications line from the PM-SC
terminal block TB1 to the nearest generator. Connect to the
user's terminal block mounted inside the generator's switch
case on the side wall. Connect the wire from terminal 9 or 10
to the terminal marked "RS485+", and the terminal 11 or 12
wire to "RS485-". Do not connect the shield at this end.
Daisy-chain these wires to the next generator, and the next,
etc. The shield should be connected to the terminal marked
"RS232 com" at one end only (i.e. each individual cable
between generators should only have one end of the shield
connected).

Connect the standard telephone jack to a telephone line using
an RJ-11 type cable.

If an optional Annunciator is to be used, connect it to terminal
block TB3, terminals 16 through 20, as labeled.
