Procedure for Exiting Manual Backup Mode:
If the MPS is operating in manual backup mode, the ATS(s) will
need to transfer back to utility before exiting this mode.
When the utility returns, the ATS(s) should automatically switch
back to the utility and deactivate the remote start. This will cause
generator #1 to disconnect from the Bus, enter cooldown, and
then shutdown provided its key switch is still in AUTO and the
remote start wires were run to it. The remaining generators which
have their key switch in the MANUAL position will need to be
manually shutdown using the following procedure:
Go to each generator in the MPS that is in the MANUAL mode
and using the generator touch screen main menu, select the
Diagnostics page (Figure 3.17).

CAUTION
Press the "Cancel MAN Mode Parallel" button and the button name
should change to "Request MAN Mode Parallel". Meanwhile, the
generator will disconnect from the Bus (Figure 3.18).

After the generator has disconnected from the Bus, the status
will change from "Gen #x On-Line" to "Gen #x Off-Line" (Figure
3.19).

Let the generators run unloaded for the designated cooldown
time.
Go to each generator in the MPS that is running and turn the key
switch to the OFF position. The generator will shutdown.
When the MPS is able to return to normal operation, it will do so
only after the remote start signal to the PM-SC deactivates and
all the generators have shutdown. After the system problem has
been resolved, switch all the MPS key switches back to the AUTO
position.
