9. MAIN MENU
Power save
Turn on the function to extend the battery life.
TBST Sel
TBST frequency is used to activate some dormant repeaters, 1000Hz, 1450Hz,
1750Hz, 2100Hz a total of 4 options are offered.
VOX
Enable the VOX function, you can speak into the microphone to start transmitting
instead of pressing the [PTT] key. A total of 3 levels are provided.
VOX Delay
When the VOX function is activated, adjust VOX Delay to extend the transmission
time and avoid cuts in the transmission between words or that it ends too quickly.
You can select between 0.5 ~ 3 sec.
Scan Mod
• SCM TO: When scanning and stopping for a signal, stays at the channel 5s before
resuming the scan.
• SCM CO: When scanning and stopping for signal, stays at the channel until the
signal disappears, and resumes scan 2s later.
• SCM SE: When scanning and stopping for a signal, will terminate the scan. This
function is only valid for a VFO scan.
Mic Level
Allows you to adjust the level of microphone gain. You can choose level 1 ~ 5.
DTMF Speed
Offers DTMF encode speed which will help the receiver decode successfully,
50~500ms are the options.
FM Radio
Turn ON / OFF the FM radio
FM Radio Moni
• Radio Mon On: When FM radio is used, you can still receive or transmit on the
channel.
• Radio Mon Off: When the FM radio is running you can not transmit or receive.
