    IM PORTANT INSTRUCTIONS Read all instructions before installing or using this heater. 2. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains at least 3 feet from the front of the heater; keep them away from sides and rear as well.

    UNPACKING AND TESTING APPLIANCE Carefully remove t he appliance from t he box. Remove t he packing screws from bot h sides of t he fireplace. Prior to inst alling t he appliance, t est t o make sure t he appliance operates properly by plugging t he power supply cord int o a convenient ly locat ed 120 Volt grounded out let .

    Consider a locat ion where t he fireplace screen will not be exposed t o direct sunlight from windows or doors. A 15 ampere, 120 Volt , 60 Hz branch circuit wit h proper ground must be available at t he locat ion. Preferably a dedicat ed branch circuit should be provided t o avoid circuit breakers t o t rip of fuses t o blow.

    HARD- W IRE INSTALLATION Turn off t he appliance complet ely and let cool before servicing. Only a qualified service person should service and repair t his elect ric appliance.     OPERATION The fireplace can be operat ed eit her by t he swit ches located on t he left front of t he fireplace unit or by supplied remot e cont rol.
