Description
Volume board
Before removing the volume board, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4.
Remove the following components:
a.
Display panel (see
b.
Battery (see
c.
Solid-state drive (see
d.
WWAN module (see
e.
Camera connector bracket (see
f.
IR camera (see
g.
HD camera (see
h.
Microphone board (see
i.
Rear-facing camera (see
j.
IR LED module (see
k.
System board (see
l.
Left speaker (see
m.
Audio jack/power button board (see
Remove the volume board:
1.
Remove the Phillips M1.6×1.6 screw (1) that secures the assembly to the computer.
