Select Symphony in your DAW

Most professional applications have their own audio preferences that are separate from Audio MIDI Setup or the Mac
System Preferences. Basic steps for setting up Symphony are provided. For more detail on this topic, refer to the
documentation that comes with your recording program.
Select Symphony in Logic Pro
1. Go to Logic Pro X > Preferences > Audio.
2. In the Devices Tab, select Symphony 64 |
ThunderBridge (or PCI) in the Output and Input
Device drop-down boxes.
3. Start by setting the I/O Buffer Size to "64 Samples".
This setting may need to be adjusted based on
your computer's performance.
4. Select "Apply Changes" and close the Preferences
window.

5. By selecting Symphony's input and output labels that
have been provided by its driver in Logic, the labels you
see in Logic's Channel Strip input and output slots
correspond exactly to Symphony I/O's hardware inputs
and outputs, making I/O assignment much easier.
a) In Logic, choose Mix > I/O Labels
b) Type Command-A to Select All
c) Select the labels in the Provided by Driver
column by clicking any of the circles in that
column.
d) Close the I/O Labels window
