Tool required: Phillips screw-driver #1
ROAD TIRE FITTING SIZE
700 x 20C to 700 x 25C
a. Internal Brake Nut Adaptor
(pre-assemble)
INSTALLATION & ANGLE ADJUSTMENT
Loosen the screw.
(Do not remove completely)
Adjust DeFender R1 for proper
angle and tire clearance.
DeFender
for Road Bike only
(Front)
Install DeFender R1 on fork and
tighten screw.
Re-tighten screws once
correct position is
reached.

b. External Brake
(included)
Nut Adaptor
(included)
Loosely affix rubber straps around
fork legs.
Tighten the rubber straps firmly.

Important Note:
DeFender R1 fits most standard road
bike fork crowns. If the front brake is
installed with an external brake nut,
replace the Internal Brake Nut Adaptor
(a) with the External Brake Nut
Adaptor (b) when installing your
Defender R1.
Loosen plastic fender screws to adjust
supports.
Leave approximately 12mm
of rubber strap, trim excess.
