Anode

ANODE
(stern bracket)
The anode metal is a sacrificed metal
which protects the outboard motor
from corrosion.
Do not paint the anode. It
deteriorates the function of the
anode metal, which can lead to rust
and corrosion damage to the
outboard motor.
