Indication:
01
You can only read the music file.

An error occurred during writing.

No storage media is inserted.

Insufficient free memory at the
save destination.

An error occurred during reading.

The data format is not compatible
with this instrument.

Data could not be read fast enough
for playback of the song.

The audio data format is not

Situation:
You can only read the music file. It
can not be saved.
An error occurred during writing.
No external media is inserted.
There is not enough free memory
in the save destination.
An error occurred during reading.
The external media may be
corrupted.
The file is unreadable. The data
format is not compatible with the
V-Piano.
Data was not called up in time for
playback of the song.
The audio data format is not
compatible with this instrument.
The internal memory capacity of
the V-Piano is full.
The V-Piano cannot deal with the
excessive MIDI data sent from the
external MIDI device.
A MIDI cable has been
disconnected.
A MIDI transmission error has
occurred.
There may be a problem with the
system.
The USB memory connector was
subjected to excessive current.
Action:
The external media may not yet be initialized (p. 95).
Insert the external media and try again.
Either use different external media, or delete unneeded files before you try
the operation again.
Only files in the following formats can be used.
• Setup files with an extension of "vsu"
• SMF music files with an extension of "mid"
• Audio files with an extension of "wav" or "mp3"
For details on audio file formats, refer to "Types of audio data that
the V-Piano can play" (p. 75).
You may be able to play the song after waiting a few seconds.
Use audio files of a format that meets the requirements given in "Types of
audio data that the V-Piano can play" (p. 75).
Reduce the amount of MIDI data sent to the V-Piano.
Connect it properly and securely.
Check the MIDI cable and connected MIDI device.
Repeat the procedure from the beginning. If it is not solved after you have
tried several times, contact a Roland service center.
Make sure that there is no problem with the USB memory, then turn the
power off, then on again.
