Display of the transmit power/radiated power
The current values for the transmit/radiated power of the readers/antennas is shown in two
identically structured views.
The output boxes
The output boxes "Absolute", "Delta" and "Delta Saturation" display the absolute
transmit/radiated power, the number of power increases in 0.25 dB steps and the effective
increase in power in [dB]. Theoretically the transmit/radiated power can be increased by up
to 255 steps (63.75 dB) ("Delta"). Since the maximum transmit/radiated power of the reader
is limited, the "Delta Saturation" output box displays the effective increase in power.
The bar diagram
The bar diagram shows the transmit/radiated power over time. For each read access, a bar
is shown on the X axis with the transmit/radiated power used.
With this representation, you can see very quickly and easily how the transmit/radiated
power changes. In particular, this visualizes the use of the Power Ramp and its effects on
the transmit/radiated power.
The transmit/radiated power used for the last measurement is shown separately as a bar.
With this view, you can see the current value at a glance.
Note
Dependency of the bar diagram representation of reader hardware, PC hardware and
operating system
The bar diagram representation of Power Ramp depends on the performance of the PC
hardware, the operating system and the reader hardware.
