Warning: Do not use materials containing solvents to dissolve wax, as
this will attack the unit's rubber components.
Warning: Let KALK–EX work for a maximum 12 hours.
Drain solution and rinse thoroughly.

8 Maintenance

8.1 Cleaning

In order to guarantee trouble-free operation, the unit should receive the following
attention:
At least 1x per week
− Change water, adding Wax–Ex.
Quantity: approx. 4 ccm/1 litre water, corresponding to approx. 90 - 110g per 20
litres.
− Clean level sensor (white plastic ring) with nailbrush or similar.
Every 2 weeks
− Change filter (white side down).
Every 4 weeks
− Clean unit with Kalk–Ex.
Quantity: approx. 5ccm/1 k litre water, corresponding to approx. 170 - 220g of Kalk-
Ex per 20 litres. – If heavy lime deposit, increase quantity appropriately -
The outside of the unit and fittings are best cleaned with a sponge or soft cloth and mild
detergent.
The model plate must always be easy to read and should not be removed.
