Your dealer can program an ID number for your transcever, to dentfy you to
other partes when you make a call. If set by your dealer, you can edt the ID.
1 If the ID number can be edted, t wll appear on the dsplay when you turn the
transcever power ON.

decrement the number.

RANSMITTING
1 Select your desred zone and channel.
2 Press the key programmed as Selcall.
3 Press <B or C> to select a dgt, then press /
number.
4 Press S to complete the entry.
5 Press the key programmed as Call 1 to Call 3 and begn your conversaton.
Note: Addtonally, you can also use the keys programmed as Digit 1x Down, Digit 1x Up,
Digit 10x Down, and Digit 10x Up to adjust the Selcall number. Digit 1x Up/Down ncreases/
decreases the Selcall number by 1 each tme the key s pressed. Digit 10x Up/Down ncreases/
decreases the Selcall number by 10 each tme the key s pressed.

ECEIVING
When you receve a sgnal contanng the correct tones, squelch opens and you
wll hear the call. To respond to the call, press the PTT swtch and speak nto the
mcrophone.

Note: If set up by your dealer, your transcever may use the MDC-1200 feature n place of
FleetSync. MDC-1200 and FleetSync cannot be operated smultaneously.
