RANSMITTING
1 Select your desred zone and channel.
2 Press the mcrophone PTT swtch and speak nto the mcrophone to transmt.
Release the PTT swtch to receve.
• For best sound qualty at the recevng staton, hold the mcrophone approxmately
1.5 nches (3 ~ 4 cm) from your mouth.
Scan montors for sgnals on the transcever channels. Whle scannng, the
transcever checks for a sgnal on each channel and only stops f a matchng
sgnal s present. There are two types of scans avalable.
• Single Scan: Montors the channels of only the currently selected zone. If set up to
scan the Prorty channel, t wll be scanned even f t s not n the selected zone.
• Multi Scan: Montors the channels of every zone.
To start/stop scannng, press the key programmed as Scan.

the busy channel untl the sgnal s no longer present, at whch tme scan resumes.
Note: To use Scan, there must be at least 2 channels added to the scan sequence.

HANNEL ECALL
Durng scan, you can recall the last zone and channel/group ID on whch you
made a call by pressng the key programmed as CH/GID Recall. Scan wll
reman paused on the Recall channel untl you press the key agan.

RIORITY CAN
If a Prorty channel has been programmed, the transcever wll automatcally
change to the Prorty channel when a call s receved on that channel, even f a
call s beng receved on a normal channel.
• The con appears on the dsplay when the Prorty channel s selected.

EMPORARY HANNEL
During scan, you can temporarily remove specific channels from the scanning
sequence by pressng the key programmed as Scan Delete/Add whle Scan s
paused at the undesred channel. To temporarly remove a zone, press and hold
Scan Delete/Add whle Scan s paused at a channel n the undesred zone.
• The channel/zone s no longer scanned. However, when scannng s ended and
restarted, the Scan settngs return to normal.
