Overview 1-9 Communications Port The UPS T2200 XR models include a communications port for data exchange with the host computer. The UPS power management software supplied by Compaq enables the user to access status reporting and power management features. CAUTION: Use only specific Compaq cables supplied with your T2200 UPS kit to connect the communications port to the host computer.
With two ERMs, the UPS available runtime is approximately 30 minutes or greater. WARNING: The UPS T2200 XR Extended Runtime Modules weigh 77 lb (35 kg). Observe local occupational health and safety requirements and guidelines, and obtain adequate assistance to lift and stabilize the equipment.

Operation 3-9 Returning to Standby Mode When the UPS is in Operate mode (the Utility LED is solid green), press and hold the STANDBY button (2) until the audio alarm sounds. This will place the UPS in Standby mode. The Utility LED (1) will flash, and power to the loads will cease.

Operation 3-11 Audio Alarm The UPS may sound an audio alarm to warn the user that an alarm condition exists. IMPORTANT: Certain audio alarms can be disabled.
