3.3 Auto Scaling
When a file is loaded the graph is drawn such that it fills the graph area, as was shown in
Figure 27 above. If a second graph (or subsequent graph) is loaded which is larger than the
previous graph then the graph scale will adjust to fill the graph area with the largest graph, as
seen in. Figure 29 above – note how the blue line has been scaled to fill the graph area and the
red line has been reduced to proportionately compare against the blue line.
If the user wishes to see the red line fill the screen then they can hide all larger graph lines by
selecting their Hide button's – as can be seen in Figure 30 below. Notice how the blue Hide
button has changed to read Unhide to highlight that a graph has been loaded, but has been
hidden.
