Module recognition
The following shows the procedure to recognize the module. The new module is automatically recognized by the system. In
this procedure, check if the module has been normally recognized. This procedure is common among all the modules.
Module recognition
The RUN LED of
the newly-mounted module
is on.
To "Module control start"
*1 When the initial setting is configured with the module parameter of an engineering tool, the setting of the module parameter is applied
when the RUN LED turns on.
■MES interface module
Check that the SD memory card or Ethernet cable is correctly inserted when an error occurs due to incorrectly inserted SD
memory card or Ethernet cable. Clear the error with any of the following operations.
• Turn on 'Error clear request' (Y10).
• Execute error clear in the diagnostics window of the MES Interface Function Configuration Tool.
■OPC UA server module
Check that the SD memory card or Ethernet cable is correctly inserted when an error occurs due to incorrectly inserted SD
memory card or Ethernet cable. Clear the error with any of the following operations.
• Turn on 'Error clear request' (Y10).
• Update the setting from the MX OPC UA Module Configurator-R.
