Update the appropriate values for the Max Sustained Rate and the Data Delivery
Type. If the Data Delivery type selected is:
The units of measure for the fields are:
x Max Sustained Rate (MIR) – bps
x Max Traffic Burst – bytes , should be less than or equal to max
sustained rate
x Max Reserved Rate (CIR) – bps, when using UGS, MIR and CIR
should be equal.
x Max Latency – millisecond and the value of this field must not be
zero (0) for UGS or ertps.
x Unsolicited Grant Internal and Unsolicited Poll Internal –
milliseconds. This value is the multiple of the WiMAX frame time,
one frame is five milliseconds.
x
Best Effort - used for data throughput for applications
such as email, data transfer, and web browsing.
x
ertps – not a recommended configuration.
x
nrtPS - provides the Unsolicited poll interval, for example
150 ms and Min Reserved Rate as needed. The polling
interval value is not needed for the DL flow.
x
rtPS - provides the Unsolicited poll interval, for example
60 ms, appropriate Min Reserved Rate and Max Latency
value. The polling interval value is not needed for DL flow.
x
UGS – provide Unsolicited Grant Interval, for example 40
ms and Min Reserved Rate, same as the Max sustained
Rate.
