Chapter 6: AAA Server Configuration

The external AAA server application is a third-party software product that is not provided by
Motorola. The Aradial application has been fully tested with the PMP 320 product and is
documented as the AAA server in this user guide. Customers requiring the Aradial AAA server
software must contact Aradial directly at
licensing. Technical support for any Aradial software-specific questions must be directed to
Aradial directly through their support services. Contact Aradial directly for software downloads,
licensing, and pricing or purchasing the Aradial product.
This chapter provides administration procedures for the Aradial External AAA server. The
external AAA is configured using the Aradial RADIUS tool. The Aradial server must be installed
before beginning the server configuration procedures. After the Aradial software is installed,
then the server can be installed and configured.
This chapter goes over installing the AAA server. It also provides information on:
x How to install the Aradial AAA server
x Collect dictionary and certificate files from the Motorola website
x Pre-configure the AAA server with specific information for the PMP 320 product
x Configure a NAS for the PMP 320 to use
x Configure a NAS group per service level
x Configure individual users in to each NAS group per CSM
x Configure the AP to use the AAA server for authentication
x Verify the end-to-end AP to Radius/AAA operation
x Configure each CSM to use the AAA configuration
MAR 2010
