PMP 320 Administration and Configuration Guide

Before you begin

The CNUT tool must be installed at the operations center on a PC. The latest AP and Canopy

Network Updater Tool software can be accessed at

http://motorola.wirelessbroadbandsupport.com/software/

unless an update is available. Also located at this link is the Network Updater Tool Online help

document. Refer to this document for additional information about any CNUT tool usage

questions.

Use the following procedure to add the devices using the CNUT tool.

Procedure 2-3 Accessing the CNUT updater and add the network devices

Be sure that Passive FTP is disabled on the Update > Configure menu before

beginning these procedures.

On the PC desktop go to Start > Programs > Canopy > Network Updater 3.2 >

Network Updater

In the Canopy Network Updater menu select:

Edit > Add Element to Network Root

or select

Edit > Add Elements to Highlighted Element

Check the AP Software Version

Use CNUT 3.20.11 for this release,
