PLATINUM SPLIT WIRING PROCEDURES
1. Locate or install an electrical outlet near the Condensing Unit.
2. Plug the Condensing Unit's power cord into the electrical outlet.
3. Leave the circuit breaker off until the unit is ready to charge.

Power to crank case heater
Power to compressor
Wire E sends power out from the Magnecraft relay to the relay – current
(Connected to terminal
Compressor Contactor (Magnecraft Relay) VWC P/N 1-141120
Purpose- Cycle power between the crank case heater and
compressor, as needed. Crank case will be turned on, and
compressor will be turned off when the low pressure switch is
open. Compressor will be turned on, and crank case heater will
be turned off when the low pressure switch is closed.

Note: Do not apply power to a system without refrigerant.
Platinum Split Wiring 115V
Lever Connector labeled
1-422128 Purpose- to house the fan hot
wire and one fan cycling switch wire.
Wire B sends power out from the Magnecraft
relay to the lever arm connector labeled
(Connected to terminal #1 on the Magnecraft
relay)
Crack case heater wire sends power out from the Magnecraft
relay to the crank case heater (Connected to terminal
Magnecraft relay)
Wire A receives power from the lever arm connector

#6 on the Magnecraft relay)

Lever Connector labeled H VWC P/N 1-422128
wire (A) that connects to the # 8 terminal on the Magnecraft relay, and one low pressure switch wire.

Purpose- to house one fan cycling switch wire, one
low pressure switch wire, and wire (B) that connects
to the #1 terminal on the Magnecraft relay.

P/N 1-422128 Purpose- to house the
neutral wires.
Purpose- to house the hot wire from the power cord,
