Keypad Installation - WhisperKool PLATINUM SPLIT 4000 Condenser Technician Manual

KEYPAD:
The Ceiling Mount Evaporator Unit comes equipped with a communication cable. Please review this section for installation.
NOTE: Fifty feet (50') of communication cable is included. One end of the communication cable terminates in a circular connector
and the other end is bare. Connect the circular connector to its counterpart and the bare end as indicated in the diagram below.

Route the communication cable from the Evaporator Unit to the desired keypad location. Remove the wall mount bracket from
the keypad housing. Using appropriate anchors or fasteners, secure the wall mount bracket to the wall (see Fig. 1 below). If
routing the communication cable through a wall, connect the wires to the back of the keypad as depicted in the image above.
Connect the red wire to the upper (+) terminal. Connect the black wire to the lower (-) terminal. If the communication cable is
not routed through the wall, remove the plug in the side of the keypad housing. Route the cable through the hole and connect
to the back of the keypad as shown above. Then mount the keypad assembly over the wall mount bracket and secure it with the
two provided screws (see Fig. 2 and Fig. 3).
