8.3.2 Replacing the Evaporator Fan and Temperature Sensor in the Upper Zone
(CWB8420DZ)
1. Remove all shelves.
2. Remove the screws
3. Disconnect the fan motor wiring connector. Then pull out the upper air channel cover.
4. Unscrew the thermistor supporter
in the upper zone. To test the temperature sensor use table 8.2.1.
5. Remove/Disassemble the four screws that secure the fan motor
channel cover and then you can replace the evaporator fan motor.
8.3.3 Replacing the PTC Heater, Fan and Temperature Sensor in the Lower Zone
(CWB8420DZ)
1. Remove all shelves.
2. Remove the screws
3. Disconnect the fan motor wires. Then pull out the lower air channel cover.
4. Now you can see the PTC heater
5. Unscrew the thermistor supporter
in the lower zone. To test the temperature sensor use table 8.2.1.
6. Remove/disassemble the four screws
channel cover and then you can replace the evaporator fan motor.
